White Haven is indeed a small town. I stopped there a few years back after a trip to Wilkes Barre to get a copy of Patrick's Naturalization application. It turned out he only had to fill in a short form. Every form I have seen only lists he came from Ireland, but not where.
He died before my mother was born and she was only 6 when her mother, his daughter died. My information is very limited. There was never any talk of other brothers or sisters for Patrick.
Other searches have brought up several Patrick MacAndrew(s) in White Haven or Luzerne County, PA.
In my DC searches the name also appears as McCandress.
Entries on the marriage certificate list Patrick's father as J McAndrews. A family bible page lists under deaths: A M McAndrews, J L McAndrews and L Fleming.
I don't know if any of this will help you or not.
