Okay -- this could be the connection I am looking for! I have a Philip McAndrews, a John McAndrews, and a Thomas McAndrews who all came from Mayo to White Haven in 1850. They brought their mother, Mary, with them; or, possibly, she came a bit later. Legend says there were seven brothers who came to PA -- I have no idea why it would be White Haven, but if your Patrick came there, too, then it definitely has to be one of the same family. It was a VERY small town in the nineteenth century and, apparently, it still is.
