I can see where Robert is curious, since people back then used to pass on family names and Owen, for instance, was the name of my great-great grandfather. He immigrated to the US from Ireland, I believe in 1849 (allegedly the family originated in Scotland) and lived in Scranton PA. His wife's name was Anne Coleman, but as family names go, either one of them could have been using a middle name.

So, even though your Owen was a McCabe, it is of interest when it's connected to a McAndrew(s), since it could be a link.
