Ray,
Tonight I received a return call from Oscar McAnally in San Antonio, after I called him today and left a message, not sure I had the right number as a contact.I was delighted to hear from him, a half first cousin I did not know about until the last several of days when I accidentally found the McAnally website. (And, I guess you're a half 1st cousin also...?) He is the one who has actually entered the information.I will send him more dates to add and a few requested photos if I can aquire them, plus a few I already have.
I was told that our grandfather Oscar Fides McAnally, his wife and the children were in Galveston and survived the historic hurricane of 1900.I was told that they moved to Cameron after that event.I don't know more details.
I will e-mail you soon so we can exchange more information more personally.I appreciate your time and patience in writing to me today.Thank you.
Lois
