Unfortunately, many Clergy are resisting & see this as taking away some of their authority - actually, what's really happening is that people now demand answers to Family History questions which many Clergy are not prepared to co-operate on. Several subscribers to our South Ulster Weblink have written directly to the Bishops etc asking for better co-operation. I'm in discussion with the C. of I> Bishop (Michael Jackson - an academic) to facilitate us.
Yes, the CDs are the only means of income which our Team of Copiers have so if you feel a relative or yourself would appreciate the actual Church Records on CD - here's your opportunity - $40 - $55 post paid - that's not a lot of money !!!! Jack will add you to the South Ulster Weblink if you ask him. It sends out Monaghan & South Ulster data, events, Family History etc etc
