Alpin McAlpin & Jean Campbell Perthshire, Scotland

My great-great grandmother Betsy was the daughter of Alpin McAlpin (a ship captain on Loch Tay) & Jean Campbell and was born in November 1805, Collander Parish, Perthshire, Scotland. She married John Campbell January 5, 1833 in Killin Parish Church, Killin Parish, Perthshire, Scotland, and they emigrated to Osgoode, Carleton County, Ontario in June, 1833. My great-grandfather, Joseph McAlpin Campbell was born immediately after arrival, in June, 1833.

John & Betsy's youngest son was also named Alpin, in honour of the Clan McAlpin. Family legend has it that if your second toe is longer than your big toe, you have the "royal toe", as a descendant of King Alpin. I have a photo of Betsy: NOT a pretty picture!

I'm interested in locating any descendants of Alpin McAlpin and Jean Campbell.
