Hi,
I'm a McAloon, originally from Wisconsin. My dad was John Daniel McAloon, nicknamed Danny, born in 1933 in Darlington, WI. His father was also John Daniel McAloon, nicknamed Jack. I don't know his exact birthdate but he was somewhere around 65 in 1964 so he was born around the turn of the century, also in southwest WI. His father came over from Ireland in the late 1800s and his name was Daniel McAloon. That's all I know about him but if anyone else has knowledge of a Daniel McAloon that left Ireland and moved to WI in the late 1800s I'd love to learn more.

BTW, my brother is named John Daniel McAloon, III and my adorable 2 yr old nephew is John Daniel McAloon, the 4th. We're very proud of our name....and I'm still a McAloon although I've been married to a Porter for 26 yrs. :-)

Pam
