I am sorry, but that is nonsense. It most unlikely that Brazilian immigrants from from Europe would arrive via Argentina. Passenger steamers to South America in that era almost all called at Rio de Janeiro, and many stopped in NE Brazil ports like Pernambuco (now Recife).
