Hello John,
This is the old JayHawkCracker. I received your E-MAIL,
thank you for telling about your Bible entries.
These entries compare exactly like the record I have, except
I did not have Eli recorded in my records. Have you seen my WEB PAGE, The McAllasters of Maine :
http://worldconnect.genealogy.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=SRCH&db=mainemcahttp://worldconnect.genealogy.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=SRCH&db=mainemca
Annanias McAllaster, and two of his sons were listed in the 1790 Maine U.S. Census. It seems that all of the McAllasters of Maine are descendants of Annanias McAllaster.
If you are not finding too much information on these families try searching using the surname McAll"a"ster. It seems that all through the earlier years this was the spelling they used. I do not know when, or why they later changed the spelling of there name to McAllister.
There is a lot of data on the WEB about these families if
you search using McAllaster for their surname. Let me know how this makes out ?
Sincerely, C. R. McAllaster
