Gainesville, Feb. 11: JOHN MCALISTER, the deputy United States marshal shot by the cowboy, CHARLEY STEIN a short time since at Purcell, I. T., died last night after ten days of intense suffering. Mr. McAlister was one of the bravest officers in the federal service and has been a terror to the law breakers in the territory. His remains were interred today at Purcell, Indian Territory
