Gerry, Posting here would be fine, there would be great and everywhere though perhaps impossible would likewise be fine and great from here. Genealogy is to share and there ultimately is no copyright on it. In America we have Johnny Appleseed, a semi-legendry figure who spread the apples throughout the midWest, but who has a real life version known to exist named Johnny Chapman. Although the number of easily proven MacAilghiles clealy number less than 10,000 but more than 1,000 this is a topic of small interest. All genealogy should be spread freely but wisely to thos who should know more of their own heritage. However whatever you have can be posted here and readily available to all, including those from the private site. Anyone wishing entrance into that site need only give their MacAilghile connection data to the Chief Scribe whose address begins of_the_Mac_Ailghiles and whose remainder of this address is with the Yahoo e-postal empire (split to confuse computer spiders stealing web addresses). The one reason not to post here is if it involves data to near the present, such as within the last two ro three generations or the parents of someone still alive. Otherwise do as you see fit and in fact many thoughtless posters have revealed the personal data on distant cousins that would make a credit card scammer salivate wildly so even that could not be stopped easily. I am sure you old and sagacious enough not to ever go that far, but I usually stop at those born in the nineteenth century just to be cautious. Thanks in advance for the sharing of your work and gleanings, A MacAilghile Scribe Notify Administrator about this message?
