The following is an obituary published for Edgar N. McAlexander. I do not know anything about him I am just passing the information on to others who might be interested

Greenville-Edgar N. McAlexander, 86, towboat worker died Sunday at Delta Regional Medical Center. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Boone-Wells Funeral Home with burial in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Mr. McAlexander, the widower of Obelene Cooper McAlexander, leaves three grandchildren and a great-grandchild. The family requests that memorials be sent to a charity of the donor's choice.
