H. Harris of 177 I'm sorry but I can't help you on Rubye McAlexander Seavers. I live in Memphis and I noticed the obit in the paper. Since I have a McAlexander in my line I was being courteous by posting the information in hopes that it would benefit someone. My grandfather's step-mother was Byer Melissa McAlexander, d/o Lester McAlexander, born in Floyd Co., Virginia. She married Robert Craig Cooper, my great grandfather. I hope you find your answer.
