Have recently found this couple in my research. Am hoping someone is looking for them too.

Here's what I have found out so far.

Thomas was born in Ky abt 1847 son of Phillip and Rebecca Manuel. Other siblings included; John b. 1842, Margaret b. 1842, James b. 1845, Thomas G. b. Sept 1847, May b. 1849, and Clement b. 1856. All these children were born in Kentucky with the exception of Clement who whas listed on the 1870 Wyandotte Co, Kansas Census as being born in Kansas.

Martha Emeline Alexander was the daughter of Claiborn and Elizabeth (Slaughter) McAlexander. Their descendants all dropped the Mc from their surname and appear in the records as Alexanders. Apparently Thomas and Martha moved on to California sometime after 1910 as I find them in Alhabra, Los Angeles County in the 1920 census. I find Martha listed on the California death database as dying in 1940.

Martha's siblings were; Edward Alexander, Margaret (Alexander) Drennon, Sabrina Louvina (Alexander) Drennon my gg grandmother. Margaret married the brother of my gg grandfather.

Thomas and Lena's children were Philip E. b. 1871, Della b. 1879, Rosa b. 1881, Lizzie b. 1885, and John b.1887.

Would like to here from anyone who descends from this couple. They would have been my ggg grand aunt and uncle.

George Drennon
