Mcaleer-Atkins family, Ontario

To all McAleer families in Canada:

My name is James Johnson (AGS3581), and I am
researching the greater family "Atkins", in
relation to the greater family "Teskey", of
which my mother was a "blood" member.
In the 1871 census for Hibbert Tp, Perth Co,
Ontario, I have found (2) entries for "Mcaleer":
Ann McAleer, deceased 1870/71, age 80 yrs; &
Michael Mcaleer, farmer, age 55 yrs;
both being enumerated in Div 2 Of Hibbert Tp; both Irish; and Roman Catholic.
This would usually mean that they were members of the same family, and probably mother and son. Did Michael have a sister
"Isabella" who married "Michael Atkins" of
St.Vincent Tp, Grey Co, Ont on 26 Mar 1858?
I believe that Michael Atkins' mother was"Ann Teskey", married to Robert and/or Joseph
Atkins, 1820-37.
Any and all help in this most perplexing matter would be greatly appreciated.
Information is available on other family
members, and can be made available.
Thank you.
