Daniel Boone, Twitty, Millers, Walker, McAfees....How Could They Have Related?

Dear Readership:

Here is what I know as being proven fact:

1. Daniel Boone and Capt. William Twitty were cutting the KY Trace...and had completed about 300 miles of it.... when Capt. William Twitty was killed in an Indian Ambush. Hence, the working relationship between Boone and Twitty is well established.

2. My very own generational grandmother, VA/NC Mary Twitty Miller descends from the aforementioned Capt. William Twitty. And...Mary Twitty Miller married NC/GA Honorable Robert McAfee.

3. Re the relationship of Boone, and Twitty, just add Felix Walker, who was also, of huge historical signifance to the history of early NC area (google: Felix Walker NC). Felix Walker had been so very seriously wounded in the Indian Ambush but survived, although he bore health issues for the rest of his life re the matter.

Now, with the Boone,Twitty, and Walker relationship documented within history, next, is the addition of the McAfee family from the same "home area" ....all of these individuals lived in the same area and are within the NC courthouse records...

So, my question at hand becomes: COULD WILLIAM MCAFEE, THE NC HUNTER, HAVE KNOWN BOONE? Most likely the answer is YES. Certainly, the weight of the evidence would lead one to believe this would be so! I am working on this!, you know one of my areas of present day research!
