I happened across some McAfee information during my researching today. It comes from the Pope Library (wherever this library may be located as I did not find the address at the site; perhaps I overlooked it.)

There are two McAfee family connections listed on this site to include:

1. Family history re Bob and Ida Church McAffee (so spelled) and sons Bob and Earl who lived close to the Lemley family in "the Buttermilk area".

2. Pedigree Chart for William C. McAfee, born 1831 TN; also, James McAfee, 1790 NC.
