We have just found that JOSEPH McAFEE b. abt. 1836 GA who is on the 1890 and 1900 Marion Co. AR Census and in 1900 he is living with a family headed by ADONIS A. PIERCE ( think he is about age 34 b. GA ).
This 1900 Marion Co. AR Census ( in case you aren't familiar with it ) shows HH 323 - 338 headed by Adonis A. Pierce, and JOSEPH McAFEE b. June 1836 GA and his father born in SC and his mother b. SC. Joseph McAfee is age 63 on this census, and listed that he is a widower and was married for 33 years.
To me this looks to be the JOSEPH McAFEE who could be the JOSEPH McAFEE b. June 23, 1836 Habersham Co. GA who is son of HUGH McAFEE b. 1804 and wife Mary Cosby Roe b. 1809 SC. Hugh is listed as son of JAMES McAFEE b. 1777 SC and wife MARTHA "Patsy" McVAY b. SC ? Appears that most are listing that this same JOSEPH McAFEE b. 1836 GA had wife named NANCY M. BLACK and no death date on her but they married about 1860 not far off from the 33 years of marriage that Joseph of Marion Co. AR listed for his marriage to his wife ( whoever she might have been ).
My cousin e-mailed me that also in Marion Co. AR is another McAFEE, named JIM H. McAFEE b. 1868 GA and he listed both his parents were born in GA too ( could that be JOSEPH McAFEE and wife NANCY BLACK ? ) The area they lived in at Marion Co. AR is very near Boone Co. AR where Spencer Alvin McAFee is listed in 1900 and 1910. Spencer in fact, had been in Marion Co. AR in the 1860 Marion Co. AR census with his wife HANNAH "Adeline" LANCE and his mother ELVIRA SUTTON. We think Elvira McAfee had remarried to a 2nd husband in Cherokee Co. GA named ASA SUTTON perhaps and he died and she then moved with her sons to AR.
We know Spencer McAfee is on a tax list for Fulton Co. AR in 1853, shortly after he was found on two different GA 1850 census's. The first census is of his brother BERRY McAFEE and wife NANCY C. OXFORD in Walker Co. GA where Spenser McAfee age 18 is listed with them then.
1850 Walker County, Georgia Census Aug. 8, 1850 enumerated in Walker Co. GA by A. M. Reid, Ass't Marshal:

Living 2 doors away is URIAH HICKS age 37 and wife Virena Jane Whittle b. 1821 TN ( either Sevier or Knox Co. TN ) In this line of HICKS are many ( over 65 ) SPARKS from MD to Cocke Co. TN. Interesting to note is that the first wife of Spencer McAfee was an EVELINE SPARKS.
Berry McAfee, ( Spencer McAfee's brother ) was in Newton County during the 1860's. Spencer married his second wife, Hannah Adeline Lance, ( 1828 TN ) on 15 Sept. 1859.

Shortly after SPENSER McAFEE is shown on his brother BERRY McAFEE's Walker Co. GA 1850 census, Spencer returned to Cherokee Co. GA where his mother ELVIRA ( shown as ELIOSA ) McAFEE then lived and is also on her census of 1850 Cherokee Co. GA as SPENCER McAFEE.

Burton McAfee age 20 M farmer born NC
Spencer McAfee age 18 M. born GRO, GEO = GEORGIA ?
John McAfee age 17 M born GRO, GEO = GEORGIA ?
William McAfee age 11 M born GRO, GEO, = GEORGIA ?
Colphus McAfee age 8 M born GRO, GEO, = GEORGIA ?

Now we know some of those McAfee's listed on same page as our Spencer McAfee were in Carolyn McGuires family of McAFee's. I have the full listings of the rest of them should you want them or refer to my postings of them on Genforum.
Looks to me like our Spencer Alvin McAfee Sr. b. Jan. 15, 1832 in either NC or GA was in Habersham Co. GA in 1840 and then in Walker and Cherokee Co's GA in 1850. Living in both those places are your McAFee's in Habersham possibly, if I understand all this, and in Cherokee Co. GA are the McAfee's in Carolyn's line. Also I had posted today to Varnell as I found his posting where his McAfee widow and her McAfee children had moved to IZARD CO. AR after the CIVIL WAR with her new 2nd husband and our LANCE, and DUNEHEW Families are in Izard Co. AR in 1850, and by 1860 the LANCE family were in both MARION CO. AR Census, as well as the FULTON CO. AR Census. Spencer and his 2nd wife ADELINE lived in Marion Co. AR too with one of her brothers nearby in Marion too.
A lot of coincidences here between both your McAfee's, Carolyn's McAfee's, our McAfee's and even Varnell's McAFee family of AR who moved ino Izard Co. AR region. All these AR counties are not that far from each other either.
