Gerald S. “Jerry” McAfee, 34
Gerald Steven “Jerry” McAfee, 34, of rural Uniondale died Thursday (August 2, 2001) at his residence.
He was employed as a C&C machine operator for National Tubing of Fort Wayne and he enjoyed fishing, boating and model cars.
Born Feb. 1, 1967, in Fort Wayne, he was the son of Donald T. and Reba J. Shell McAfee of Ossian. His marriage on June 24, 2000, in Waterford, Mich., was to Nancy J. Fuller, who survives and resides in Decatur.
Other survivors include a son, Logan Virgil McAfee of Fort Wayne, a brother, James Tony McAfee of Almont, Mich., two sisters, Betty Jean McAfee of Fort Wayne and Angel C. McAfee of Oswega, N.Y., and grandparents Virgil and Christine Shell of London, Ky., and Lora Sharp of Ossian.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Funeral Home in Ossian with Rev. Phil Mortensen officiating and burial at Oaklawn Cemetery.
Visitation at the funeral home will be Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m.
