The only name I have in my data that might fit is Parththina McAdoo in the 1850 Cannon Co. TN census on page 445. Head of household is William S. McAdoo age 36 TN, next is Nancy McAdoo age 34 TN, Parthina age 8 TN, Sep. (?) McAdoo F age 6 TN, Thos. B (?) McAdoo age 4 TN, Margaret McAdoo age 2 TN, Ashine McAdoo 3/12 F TN. Not sure if this person fits with yours. I don't know how this William is (or not) connected with the other McAdoos in Cannon CO. TN. I don't have a David Spurlock but that doesn't mean anything since I only have a few names and there were other Spurlock families in Wilson/Cannon CO. Sorry I can't be of much help.
