I am a direct descendant of Hugh McAden. He is my 4th Great grandfather. This information comes from a publication, no longer available, entitled "Rev. Hugh McAden and His Descendants," by Mary McAden Satterfield, Ben Lacy Rose, Rubinette Miller Neimann and John Paul Neimann.
Hugh McAden was an early circuit Presbyterian preacher credited with establishing many new congregations - mostly in NC - in the late 1700s.
I have MUCH more info on this line.
