Seeking any information anyone might have on Martha McAdam of Craigengillan. Supposedly married to
Alexander MCILVANE, younger brother of Quentin was, according to Torrence and Allied Families, born in Ayrshire. At the time of the suppression of the Covananters in the 1660s and 1670s, he took his family to Aughnacloy, County Tyrone, in Ireland. Martha McAdam is said to have been of the same family as the famous road builder.
