Hi my great great grandfather was a George McAdam born circa 1809 although from census records his age suggests 1811. He puts Girthon, Kirkudbright as his place of birth but i cant find a birth record for him or any info on his parents. I know he married in 1841 to Sarah kennedy and they had 9 children-Elizabeth, Marion, Anne, William, Mary John, Alexander, Margaret and Andrew .
Does anyone have information on George's family- siblings perhaps? parents? Anything welcome!
