1908-08-26 43 Died: Mrs. Sara McAdams, 8/15/1908, 82, at her home in Watertown. Born 3/3/1826 in the County of Wicklow, Ireland, as a daughter of Arthur McCarty. Came to NY. at age 12, for a short stay, then to Lockport, NY. In 1844, married Terrance McAdams. In 1849, with their little son John, came to this city for 9-10 years, then exchanged their home for a farm 3 miles NE of Jeff. Had 11 children, 3 sons & 3 daughters, Mrs. G. Reinhardt, of Jeff., survive. Her husband died in 1886. 9 years ago, she sold the farm &, for a short time, lived in Jeff., then to Fond du Lac, then Richwood for 2-3 years, & then to Watertown where she died. Funeral at Watertown.
