Thanks for the info you posted and as it happens I've just been to Ireland and made a few more discoveries.
Joseph McAdam (b approx 1860) was married in 1888 and his father is listed as Joseph McAdam which ties in with our family in Co Cavan. His address on the marriage cert is given as Ballymena Co Antrim but he was a Police Officer in Co Antrim at the time.
I've discovered that Annie - born 1892 - married a William Maxwell from Beragh and they had two children, Ruby Isabel (b 1912) & William Joseph (b 1914) They then emigrated to the US in November 1916 along with Annies sister Ruby Sarah Jane (b 1895- birth cert shows Sarah Jane but 1901 census shows Ruby and 1911 has Sarah Ruby Jane).
Mary Winifred (b 1902) & William George (b 1899) both emigrated to the US in May 1922 along with their mother Mary Elizabeth (nee Giboney) and they are shown as going to the Maxwells as listed above in Barrington, Rhode Island.
No doubt, I now have relatives in the US but finding them might well take me a long time!
Joseph McAdam (b 1897) joined the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers and came through WW1 before joining teh Dublin Metropolitan Police. He later transferred to the newly created Garda Siochana (Irish Free State Police) and retired as a Sergeant in Blackrock Co Dublin in 1955. He did marry a RC lady from Co Mayo in Dublin and they had 9 children. Will seek out that RC record you mention to see if its relevant.
Margaret (b 1889) became a teacher but she died in Fintona in 1913.
Louisa (b 1904) died from burns aged 4 in 1908 & Marion was born in June 1907 but died in April 1908.
Thanks for your help & interest
John McAdam
