My name is Irina Mazur, I'm married, but haven't change my last name. I'm russian, but live in England, my parents live in Petrozavodsk, North Western Russia.
My father Nickolai Mazur is looking for any information about his uncles Semen (Simon) Mazur (Mazurek(?)), born 1892, and Anton Mazur (Mazurek), born 1884. Their family lived in Byelorussia in a village called TELMY, near Brest. There were 6 sons in the family:
Anton, Semen, Peter, Grigoriy, Fedor, Ignat. Their father's name was Vassily.
Anton moved to Canada in 1910, his wife's name was Maria (her father's name was Sidor, but we're not sure), she was from village Tcherny, about 10-12 km from Telmy.
Semen moved to Argentina (according to the family sources) in 1912, he was single.
In thirties both visited their homeland. After World War II, in 1945 or 1946 there was another visit. After that - iron curtain, and no more news or letters from them.
My father's father Ignat passed away in 1995, when he was 98. We do realize that both Semen and Anton are gone, but their descendants could be alive.
Kind regards to everyone who will read my message.
