Hi,
I read your post and don't know if there is anything here that would help either of us, but I am corresponding with "cousins" in Poland.
Their greatgrandmother, Rosalia's first marriage was to a Mazan. They had a son Jan and he lived in the states, but visited Poland. They sent me a picture of him standing near a barn and cows heading into the barn.
I know there was a Jozef Warunek in Chicago who had a half brother, Jan Mazan.
So, does this ring any bells? I believe there might be a connection, though I can't quite figure it out.
Do you know the name of Frank Mazan's wife? Could it be Rosalia?
Hope to hear from you,
Valerie
