Hello Sandra,
Sorry, I've taken so long to reply. I don't check this forum very often as it's not one of my own families but one I was originally pursuing for a friend.
From the information I have, I think that it's possible that the two lines we have ARE related but my Stephen and Henry Maywood were born in 1879 and 1880 respectively to Stephen Maywood (snr) and Sarah (nee Mack)
According to the 1881 census they lived on Horns Road in Barking and had a lodger at the time, a young man named Walter Box. Is he one of Lucy's children?
I only ask this because on the same census page there is a William and Lucy Box (whom I presume is your predecessor) with a son called Henry Maywood (b.1858) and two sons called William and George Box.
I also have an IGI marriage for one William Fountain Maywood on 7th Jan 1855 in Bethnal Green and he was supposedly the son of another Henry Maywood and born in Barkingside. I've tied myself in knots chasing them, so if you can offer any clues I'd be very grateful.
Thank You
Josh :)
