I am trying to tie my floating Mayo clan to the Valentine Mayo who married Ann Patterson and died in Georgia in 1793. He had sons Valentine, James, and Thomas, according to his will. I have seen Val, Jr.'s children listed and they are not mine. Further, his sons are not old enough to be the father of my brood. I am looking for information about the children of the other two sons, Thomas and James.

Mine were in Orange, Crawford, and other counties of Southern Indiana in the early 1800's. One daughter born in Georgia (1802) and the next in Paducah, Kentucky inn 1812.

Thanks to anyone who has information about Valentine's sons.
