Hi my full name is Robert Rahe Mayo born on July 9 1959 Andrews TX, son of George Washington Mayo JR born 1912 TX son of George Washington Mayo SR, son of George Washington Mayo SR. I too have heard the story of the Four brothers. my story starts with my fathers dad. He married a young girl who was sold to him and on their wedding night she climbed a tree because she was afraid. After that the story jumps to my dad living in whita falls TX. and to servive the Depression his grand mother, which he called mammy, was a bootleger. They then moved to oklahoma in a coverd wagon and on the way his big brother took down fences and put them back up on the road to oklahoma they were on their way to Arkansas to meet up with kin, but never got there. I have a picture of my dad in grade school in Duncan oklahoma and have his deploma when he graduated from JR high in Duncan. I know that they did live in sulphur oklahoma as well. I have several tin type pictures of family, but no names. I would be glad to share copies.
