That Early, it can only be James A. Mayo. he is the son of Williamson Mayo and Hannah Phillips. He settled in my area of Cabell now Wayne) county WV and married 1812 Jane Garrett, daughter of Benjamine Garrett. His Sister, Martha Ware was here also, along with my GG James G May out of Joseph. James A Mayo sold out here in 1818 and moved to Wayne County Indianna after the battle of falling tembers there and died in Crawford County. Many descendants went to Illinois. The children could not have been born there in 1805 unless they were Indian.
