Sorry for the delay; I don't get around like I one time did <grin>. I do not know if I descend from Valentine Mayo or not. I am searching for siblings and parents of Philadelphia "Delphia" Mayo, b. ca 1740 probably Perquimans Co., NC, married, so I have been told, Lemuel Thigpen, b. ca 1736 Perquimans Co., NC. I do know my Thigpen's came from Perquimans Co., NC into Edgecombe/Pitt Co., NC.
The Patterson name is of interest because I have Patterson (b. 1730)in my line from County Antrim.
