hi, i will try to help, i dont have my paper work in front of me. so this is only on meory. and bad at that.
my John Maynor Lumbee Indian, was Born in NC. I would say robeson, co.
my thought,
left NC went to WV. he married a Martha Toler. i dont know if they married in NC or WV.
the children from this union was
John Maynor - Born in NC. Abt 1840 give or take a few years. I really cant remeber date.

this is who's line i decend from. Lumbee Indian
he married a Hannah Shields - I think John must have been married 2 times. John had children, one who is my great grandma
Rebecca (Becky) Maynor who married a Charles Otis Paynter of WV.
and they had lots of kids too.
Ester, my grandma who married a Robert Cregger.in 1928.
who had a daughter a Almetta/Almeda Cregger?
was told she could have been a ferguson, or a Blankenship too. no proof of any of this. i cant find her in any census either.
my question, could she have taken the Maynor Name?

tawahna2@yahoo.com
so wee can work on this family.
thank you,
Lilly Tawahna Anderson
