Help!
My Grandfather was John Mayne b.1877, son of George Mayne, who was a hawker.
When he married in Lincolnshire, England, in 1931, he was a widower.
I can discover nothing about his birth place, or his first family. Can anyone help?
I believe he might have served in the Boer War, but can uncover no facts about him.
Any clues gratefully received.
