Ray Alexander Mayne, born 22 Oct 1893, Park Valley, Box Elder County, UT. His father was Jesse Amon Mayne, his mother was Rosabella Amelia Campbell. (I have given the two most common versions of his parents' names - I find them spelled so many different ways it gets confusing.)
Ray Alexander Mayne married Florence Delilah Patty on 9 Mar 1914 in Logan, Cache County, Utah. (Her name is often mangled up in records, too, but I have used the correct one here,)
Ray and Florence had two sons - Murray Spencer Mayne and Edgar Mayne. After that it's as if the father dropped off the face of the earth. Florence returned to where she was born in Iowa and lived the rest of her life there. There is no mention of her husband (ex-husband?) in her obituary.
If anyone knows what became of Ray Alexander Mayne, please contact me! He was my husband's great grandfather, and we would like to at least find out where he died and was buried.
