That is "THE" question!I've been able to trace Greenstreets (John & Thomas) to Indiana, from KY.My guess is they followed the Maynards. But still no documents linking anyone for sure other than Sarah Greenstreet and Moses Maynard.
Wm and Sarah Maynor are listed as North Carolina taxpayers in 1779, Hertford Cty.
Gipson, Jacob, and William Mainard listed as taxpayers in NC,Wilkes Cty, 1782.
William Mainard listed also in Bute Cty, 1766.
Listed also are:
Benjamin Mainer, Sampson Cty, 1784
John Mainer, Martin Cty, 1779
John Mainer, Beaufort Cty, 1786
Josiah Mainer, Sampson Cty, 1784
Stephen Mainer, Sampson Cty, 1784
William Mainer, Bertie Cty, 1781
Greenstreet, Peter, Wilkes Cty, 1782
Greenstreet, Peter, Wilkes Cty, 1782Just passing more info, hoping to trigger that one "link"Peggy
