In the book, EAST GEORGIA SETTLERS, I stated that Nathaniel T. Maynard was the nephew of both John and Nicholas Maynard. That statement is in error. There is no proof of this. I also stated in the book that he was a possible child of Thomas Maynard. He could also be a possible child of John or Nicholas. He definitely belongs to the family of Nathaniel Maynard and Elizabeth Matthews. Since he is buried in the Old Maynard Family Cemetery near Winder, GA where John and most of his family are buried, it's possible that he was a son of John. Any help in solving this mystery will be appreciated.
