Alfred & Mary Lambert had 12 children and one of them was Robert who married Sarah Sharman. Maria Mayhew married James Sharman II.
I have done the lines of James Sharman and his wife Harriet Kerrison's children. They came from England in 1836.
I started the family tree in the 1970's and really got into it when I retired. So it has been a little more than 40 yrs and it has been great fun. I never got to personally meet Carl.My Dad's sister gave me "History of Canterbury" for a Xmas present in 1971. I don't think she ever realized what I would do after reading Carl's book.So many questions and no one to answer them for me. When I was young I spent every summer at my Granparent's (James Edwin & Alice Sharman's home in Birchton. After they passed away, I spent time at my Gt Aunt Bertha Evelyn Sharman Haseltine's (my Grandpa's sister) home in Moe's River. During the time when business's moved to Ontario, my closest family members were no longer in the area. I still go up each year to do research at Bishop's and at the Compton Museum and visit relatives and friends. I do so love the area. I recently became very saddened when I heard they had closed the Birchton Church as that is where I went to Sunday School, family weddings, church suppers and funerals.
There are so many people who have asked me where they can get a copy of Carl's book. I wish it could be reprinted.
My home is in Massachusetts.
