Every now and then I google my roadblocks and stumble on "hunches". I am descended from Justus Mayo and his son, Cyrenus Mayo, who were in Windsor, Broome, NY by the 1820 census. I have also seen the name as Mayhew. Also in Windsor is an Orrin who probably was a son. Cyrenus had a son Levi. I don't know all of the children of Justus and Cyrenus but flags came up when I read your messages. Justus supposedly came from Orange county but I've not been able to find a trace. Do you know anything of this Mayo/Mayhew family?
