I am searching for information on Thomas Mayhugh from Manassas, Prince William County, Virginia. It is spelled both ways in the Census reports. What I have so far is below is:
As far back as I can get is Thomas Mayhugh who married Catherine Cannon and lived in Manassas (Prince William County, VA)they were both born in the early 1800's around 1805 we believe. They had several children my gggrandfather was son Joseph Mayhugh who married Grace Marsh born in Maine to Jerimiah and Annie Marsh. Thomas and Catherine also had children John, Tazwell, Catherine and Emily.
My grandfather was Emory E. Mayhugh son of Walter Lee Mayhugh son of Joseph Mayhugh. My grandfather was married to Sarah Frances Marsh from Wolftown, Va. My greatgrandfather's first wife and my greatgrandmother was Delilah Belle Mays.
We are not sure if Thomas was originally from the Prince William County area or if he came there from somewhere else, I have been stuck here for quite sometime so any help is greatly appreciate.
