Hi Marolyn,
Yes, they are related. The information I have shows Centha Ellen Mayhall (1876MS) dau. of James Aleck (Elexander) Mayhall (1845MS) and Mary P. Hudson (1844MS) married Florentine Decalb Folkner (1871AL) in 1892. Is he the son of Amelia a. Folkner (1858AL) and unknown father? Decalb was living with his grandfather, Francis Marion Folkner in 1880 in MS.
William Howard Mayhall (1885MS), son of Francis Marion Mayhall (1859MS) and Margaret "Peggy" Milner (1855MS) married Lena Tharp (1889MS), dau. of John F. Tharp (1858AL) and Mary Margaret Caldonia "Mollie" Folkner (1859AL).
James Aleck Mayhall and Francis Marion Mayhall are brothers, both sons of James B. Mayhall and Emiline Hodge.
How are you related to this family? Would like to share information especially on the Mayhalls. You can email me at pat@fidnet.com
