Hello everyone,
I am looking for information on the family of Jeremiah Mayes, born in 1746 in Goldington, Bedfordshire, England. He married Eleanor Hart in April of 1771 either in Bedford, Bedfordshire or Goldington. They had two known children,
Thomas Mays born May 1776 in Bedford and Eleanor born April 1781 in Bedford.
Eleanor married John Stanley on January 2nd 1800 in Bedford. They had three known children.
Mary Stanley, born August 1803 and died Mar 1804, both in Bedford.
Elizabeth Stanley, born April 17th 1804, died July 6th 1812, both in Bedford.
Thomas Stanley, born July 15th 1806 in Bedford.
Thomas Mays married Elizabeth Arnold on May 12th 1800 in Hinxford, Bedfordshire. They had ten known children.
Mary Mays, born December 1801 in Henlow, Bedfordshire and died June Quarter 1872 in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire. She married Thomas Dilley on June 2nd 1821, he was born in 1801 in Broom, Bedfordshire, and died 1881 in Biggleswade.
Helen Mays, born July 1804 in Henlow. She married James Dorrington on October 12th 1832 in Goldington.
William Mays, born April 1807 in Henlow. He married Jane Matthews.
Jeremiah Mays, born April 1809 in Henlow, died December 1878 in Bedford. He married Sarah Mary Harris Buxton on March 31st 1834 in Bedford. She was born in 1808 in Southill, Bedfordshire and died in 1898 in Bedford.
Thomas Mays, born September 1812 in Henlow. He married Ann West. She was born in 1816 in Langford, Bedfordshire.
James Mays, born March 1815 in Henlow and died March Quarter 1891 in Biggleswade. He married Rhoda Prestland, daughter of Samuel Prestland, on May 25th 1839 in Henlow.
George Mays, born December 1817 in Henlow died December 1886 in Biggleswade. He married Mary Church, daughter of John Church, on July 22nd 1837 in Henlow. She was born in 1817 in Henlow and died June Quarter 1913 in Biggleswade.
Elizabeth Mays, born November 1820 in Henlow and died December Quarter 1895 in Biggleswade. She married William Brawn on March 19th 1842 in Henlow. He was born in 1812 in Meppershall, Bedfordshire and died in March Quarter 1876 in Biggleswade.
David Mays born December 4th 1823 in Henlow and died June Quarter 1887 in Biggleswade. He married Ann Legate, she was born January 7th in Henlow and died June Quarter 1869 in Biggleswade.
Charles Mays born 1827 in Henlow. He married Sarah Vintiner on March 11th 1848 in Clifton, Bedfordshire. She was born in 1824 in Langford, Bedfordshire.

My great-great-great-great-grandmother was Martha Mays born 1841, daughter of Jeremiah, son of Thomas, son of Jeremiah. She married William Henry James, their son Frederick William "Fred" James, 1869-1946, came to the United States circa or prior to 1890 and married Tenna Rhodes. Together they immigrated to Canada in 1893 and settled in Ladysmith, British Columbia, Canada.
