I am seeking information about Joseph Mayse(Mayes) b. 21 May 1840 in Bath Co., Virginia, s/o George Mayse and Sarah B. Allen. He married a Bettie as indicated on the 1870 Bath Co., VA census records. They had a son, William Tate Mayse b 15 Sept 1870. Joseph and B. are listed as his parents.

I have not been able to trace any of their whereabouts after 1870. Does anyone have any information so far as where they went or when and where they died?
