The Cleveland Chapter of the Mayes/Mays/Sherman Family of Greenville South Carolina will host a Family Reunion in Cleveland Ohio August 4-6, 2006 at the downtown Lakeside Holiday Inn. We and the related families (Higdon-Ladson-Pepper-Rosemond-Lambert-Catlett) will be looking for you to join us. More family history will be gathered to go into the next edition of the Family History book done by the family historian, Patricia Thompson of the Cleveland Chapter. We are the descendants of James & Harriett (Sherman) Mayes born approx 1850. Any historical information about them would be greatly appreciated. The slavery age before the Civil War is very difficult to resurrect. Please contact me with your interest in attending. That's August 4-6, 2006. Pat Thompson
