I am researching the Mayer family from Pennsylvania (Northampton Co). I have a Mary "Polly" Mayer who was born 1803 and moved to Grove NY with her husband Samuel Fry. Her Father was Henry Mayer who was probably born around 1780 or a bit earlier depending on whether he married multiple times. Henry left Penn with his daughter and lived in Grove because I have a picture of the house his Son in law built him there. According to documents, the family also spelled the name Myer. It is possible that this is the same family. However, I have not been able to find much about Henry. I have revolutionary war pension records for a Henry Mayer in NY requesting benefits for Hanhendrick and Anna Myer which would have been about the right time. Have you found any additional links since your last posting?
