I am trying to solve an old family question. According to family legend, we are related to an indian chief. we believe it is on the maberry side. I have traced back to a dead end: Abednego Maberry. All I can find is 1 census stating he was born in pa. No parent info and no other census after 1870. He was born in 1812 approx.His wife was Sarah Douglas. Had a son named thomas who married a Julia Wright. Any info on abednego would be greatly appreciated. We don't even know what tribe.
