Thomas Bogan (Bogin) May 1824 North Carolina migrated to Alabama

I am looking for any information regarding a Thomas Bogan (Bogin)May. I have some information about him. He married Frances Elmira Smith in about 1858. He was born in 1824 in North Carolina. I have found records that his parents may be Elizabeth Harrington and Peter May, and Peters parents possibly Pleasant May married to a Jane Boggan. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The family eventually migrated to Texas and his children were George Franklin

Grove May this is my great great grandfather
Josephine May
William B.
James Jarvis May
Oak May.

Please help as I have some information on most of these lines. According to my great aunt, The Boggan's were a royalty descent out of Ireland.
