hi - I'd like to know more information about Maria Barbara May. I found one family tree that says she is the daughter of Daniel May and wife Maria Barbara Hall.
Did she marry Lloyd Copeland?
Or did she marry Ezekial devault (info given to me by another poster)?
My Barbara May is listed as being born about 1801 in Orange County, NC.
I believe Maria Barbara May was born in 1804, also in Orange County, NC.
So I think they are the same woman. I am hoping she married Lloyd - which would complete the only gap in my genealogy search!
I tried to email Imogen Boswell - who I believe is the best source of May genealogy - but in this forum, her email is listed as "hidden". So if you are out there, Imogen, I would appreciate your reply. Or if anyone else knows - I also would appreciate your reply! Thank you.
