After searching some old letters I found that I have been misspelling my great-grandmothers name all along. Her name was Marguerite K. May. My grandmother thinks her middle name was Kay from what my grandpa told her but is not entirely sure. Maybe K. or Kay is short for Katherine. I don't know for sure.
For what its worth, if it helps find info of his mother, my grandfather (Thomas Martin Bodell) was born October 9, 1921 in Toledo, OH. At some point after he was born he and his parents returned to Monroe, MI (or thereabouts).
If anyone can help me find info of Margeurite it would be greatly appreciated.
