Still seeking....after many years....info on the parents of John F MAY b. c1836. He is shown in 1850 Glynn Co census with a woman I believe may be his mother. Her name is Selina HENDRICKS on the 1850 census, then she appears again on the 1860 Glynn Co census with John and his family as Salina HARRISSON. John died in the war c1862 before his son was born.
John F MAY married Amanda Jane Elizabeth SUMMERLIN in Glynn Co and they had 4 children (Mary, Sarah, Mariah & John). Amanda had been married 1st to an unknown Johnson, and after John May's death, remarried to a John H LANE with whom she had 4 more children (Susan, Ella, Edward & Frances).
Any info would be most helpful!!! No luck in past 20 yrs!!!
